Camp for Kids - Feb 7th 2021

I was given a word from a friend this week - He said in prayer time they saw my face and heard God say to tell me "Time for her to expand the land, the land." then they saw me riding a Horse really fast going in all kinds of directions and figure 8's then the Horse reared up and I was waving to everyone and having fun, which meant everyone was having fun and they were told I would know what this means. The same day I was given this word, I heard an event that was taking place close to my hometown for Horse lovers. But was not given any clear direction if I should go to that event.

So, today I went to God in prayer about vision and asked him for clear direction of the word I was given. What I saw was a Spirograph that I use to play with as a kid, and I saw other games like Pick up Stix and Jax.

Then I saw Paul Newman and how he helped children and the camp he started. Then I saw on the land a huge Long house where children were able to be children again. They came to the land from all over to be children and laugh and have fun.

I looked up Paul Newman and what this is all about and read - In 1988, an amazing dream became a reality. Paul Newman opened The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp for children fighting cancer and other illnesses, to let them be kids again. That single camp has now grown into the Serious Fun Children’s Network of camps and programs around the world, free of charge for all who attend.

How the Fun Began - more than 30 years ago, Paul Newman started a free camp where kids could escape the fear and isolation of their medical conditions and, in his words, “raise a little hell.” This remarkable concept sparked a quiet movement, and that one camp launched a global network. Today, there are 30 camps and programs serving the needs of children and families around the world.

Thank you Paul for your great legacy charity you left us!

I would love to have this type of camp right here in Murphy, NC where kids could be kids and laugh and have fun.
